The History of the Hobbit (One Volume Edition) arrived today.
I have to say that I much prefer this edition to the original two separate editions, very similar in layout to the Companion and Guide from Findegil.

Quite a pointless article from the Independent as the author neglects to mention the name of the book they are plugging.

I think they are referring to this eagerly awaited book (released on the 27th October 2011).

Is that out next week? Totally forgot; thought it was late November for some reason. Also, A Tolkien Tapestry (Hb) is shipping next week, now that I look at my back orders.
