It's described as being in 'New, unread condition'. That would explain a lot.

From what I have seen so far, I think his copy of The Hobbit could also be described as 'new, unread condition'.

Now if they had a case of each book, I could see a classroom teacher buying a set of all three...

This is just a bit too much. Almost two hundred copies of TTT (and Orlando to boot).
