Beren should add this to his eBay letter list too! There's no such thing as "No returns accepted". EBay are governed by distance selling rules (or whatever it's called) like any other UK internet seller. My own experience is that sellers stating this are still made to give refunds by eBay if your case is reasonable in any case e.g. it was mis-described. But, I suppose your right Trotter, auctions stating this are to be avoided --you always have to question why the seller would state this.
