On Saturday the 14th August 2010, I will be at the "Edge of the Wild Event" In Morton in Marsh, so am interested in who else from the forum may be attending as it would be great to meet up.

I also like to know if anyone is going to Mark Faith's Welsh event held on the same dates as it would be nice to get some feedback on both events from board members.

Trotter, I'll probably be down for the Moreton event. I went in 2007 for the CoH launch, couldn't get down in 2008, but attended again in 2009 --it was pretty good. But, I have no firm plans as yet, as it is literally a 1000 miles round trip from Aberdeen, & the drive is in excess of 8 hours. That said, if you're there at the end, and your buying, then I may fix those plans! --no, seriously, I'll probably be down for Friday & Saturday (& Saturday evening).

I ain't going to Festival in the Shire. It sounds very promising, but the money is prohibitive, what with travelling down costs too.

The Welsh thing looks very tempting - it would be great to catch up with Shippey and Verlyn Flieger again (and wonderful to meet artists I haven't yet met: Rodney Matthews, and Paul Gregory).

But it's not to be. I reckon the trip would cost us £800.00 just for the entrance fees and four nights' accomodation. Then there's food, and travel costs. Out of the question.

But hey - we always have a good time at Moreton, and I hope to see you both there, and anyone else who can make it.

I still intend to go to Moreton this year, but have to find out if I can get some accomodation pretty quickly now ...

Unfortunately I can't make either show, I have to be in Brazil for work. Fortunately, I get to visit Brazil for the first time...

Anyone in São Paulo that wants to hang out, drop me a line! I will be there the 8th through the 13th (traveling the 14th back home).
