Good point Remy and i know what you mean. I guess it means more to original owner. I havent got this all in one edition but have got the the 3 vol set which is fantastic. Maybe having both is greedy although once you have the bug you just have to have it ! ;)

Im curious what those who do have these two paid for them (assuming you didn't buy them at the time :) )

I always ask artists, authors etc to sign to me - it makes it more personal. I don't much care if it does knock down the resale price - I don't intend to be the one selling them!

I paid £150 for the three-volume set, years ago - and £250 or thereabouts (just last year) for my one-vol. (which I found out, weeks later to have a printing fault... grrrr...)

I think that if you can get these two books for less than £1500 then you are doing very well.
