I'm new to this site and am a big fan of all things tolkien.

when its finished i will make a handfull of prints. i contacted pieter from tolkien library and told him i would send him a bunch to give out amongst the tolkien collectors he knows. i had alot of fun painting it and listening to the bbc adio books as i worked on it.
feel free to send me your address and i will send you a copy quite happily

I would like a copy of that print, Bert. Your painting is very Tolkienesque. I like how you used the colors from The Hobbit dust jacket. Very nice!
