Seriously? I don't think either of these prices are very good. Given, these are pretty hard to get hold of; but £1000+ is pretty steep. (And not very good if you already have one or two volumes.)

In November/December (2012) five decent copies came up on eBay (--all of these were in the Fine/new category):

November
Vol. III £129
December
Vol. II £183 (shrinkwrapped)
Vol. I £286/$464
Vol. II £135/$218
Vol. III £101/$163

And in January:
Vol. II £117

The highest combination for vol. I, II, & III from above equals £598; the highest for vol. II & III equals £312. So... those auctions look pretty high to me. Add 'em up!
