not guilty- I was watching but my copy fairly good so not going to bid on it.
Think they go for £120-£150 ish so if bidding got to £60-£70 you would think some one placed a 'good' offer to get it withdrawn ?

Speaking about Farmer Giles:
I've recently been quick on ordering some books having turned up as buy-now (not on eBay, though), and I've been quite unlucky so far. In most cases, I should probably have written an email to ask for a clarification -- the sellers haven't included much information and there has been no image. For example, last week I bought an item listed as "Farmer Giles of Ham, 1st ed., 1957" (thus 2nd impr.) Price: €16, so quite cheap. However, it arrived today without dustjacket  Not very collectible nor desirable!
