Hi folks

I seem to remember Thorntons doing de luxe editions of Roverandom, and maybe other books, a few years ago - bound in green leather, limited to 25 copies. Does anyone else remember this? Any more details available?

Thanks

wellinghall

I got one of those, and I know where number 1 is... what exactly you want to know?

Hey Beren, you still have a lot of good information up on TolkienLibrary.com. Here's #1 that you had for sale last year...

I remember seeing three editions, all in the green leather:

The Hobbit - 1979 Folio Society Edition
Roverandom - 1998 HarperCollins First Edition
The Silmarillion - 1977 A&U First Edition

I was just idly curious, really - I had some vague memories, but a quick search didn't show anything. Thanks for the info.
