Some years ago I was given Christina Scull and Wayne G. Hammond's excellent J.R.R. Tolkien: Artist and Illustrator (a birthday gift from my dear wife!).

Now, I have small question: Did this book include everything unique by JRRT (be it pieces of art or writings) that were already contained in Pictures of J.R.R. Tolkien? As the latter is out-of-print and expensive on ebay and similar, I would like to know if it is worth to try to acquire it (as I'm more of a collector of Tolkien's ideas than his books).

I guess there is an answer to my question in the foreword to JRRT: Artist and Illustrator. However, because of my present geographic location, I cannot access that work for the moment.
