I just ran across this news article saying that the Ukrainian edition of The Children of Húrin has just been released:
http://www.kyivpost.com/guide/general/29052/ My favorite quote in the article: Kateryna Onyschuk from Lviv who translated the novel said that while working on Tolkien’s book she dreamt of elves and gnomes, helping her come up with the best translations. The article also indicated that the book was published by "the small Ukrainian publishing house Astroliabia, organized in 2001 at Lviv University".
