Bloomsbury Auctions sent me an announcement about their upcoming "Bibliophile Sale" on August 7th 2008 at 1:00 pm at their London location.
Viewing beforehand on Tuesday 5th August from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Wednesday 6th August from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm Thursday 7th August from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm 63. Tolkien (J.R.R.) .The Hobbit, first edition, tenth impression, colour frontispiece, plain illustrations and map endpapers by the author, school library stamp on verso of front free endpaper, original pictorial green buckram, shelf-lean, dust-jacket, 2 closed tears, frayed at corners and spine ends with some loss, 8vo, 1958. Estimates £75 - £100
