I have started working on Tolkienbooks.net again and am wondering if anyone has a copy of this edition:

http://www.tolkienbooks.net/php/details.php?reference=71510

It appears to be a copy of the 3rd impression of the hardback edition bound as a paperback - it has the hardback ISBN (0261103539) on the verso of the title page and the plates are spread out through the book instead of all together in the middle.

Does anyone have one of these, maybe as a 2nd or 4th impression.

Ahh... that makes sense. Didn't intend to sound like I was stalking you or anything!

I have the 3rd impression. Different ISBN on verso of title than on back cover, plus plates spread out (as you describe). The pages have been cut down, but not very accurately, so the text is not completely horizontal through to about page 10.
