Very nice handwritten letter to Pauline Baynes up for sale at Christie's. Dated 1949, talks about Farmer Giles proofs of her artwork, and the possibility of her illustrating the next big project he is working on ("a long romance in sequel to "The Hobbit" "). Est. £3000 - £4000 Sale date is July 3, 2007 at the London, King Street auction house.
