Darrell K. Sweet has illustrated more than a thousand Science Fiction and Fantasy book covers, including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. In 1982, he published a calendar of images from those two works. The Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne will present "Sci-Fi and Fantasy: The Cover Art of Darrell K. Sweet" January 22nd through March 23. The pieces span 20 years of Sweet's career and include covers from Asimov, Tolkien and other giants in the world of the fantastic.
