Thornton's Bookshop is run by W A & J S Meeuws. It was established in Oxford in 1835, and is a member of ABA, BA, and ILAB. Thornton's always has an interesting selection of Tolkien related books and ephemera for sale, and puts out occasional catalogs with quite interesting scarce and rare materials for the serious as well as casual collector.
