The issue has two historical articles: an anthropological look at the Lossoth of Forochel, and a historical look at a lesser known dwarvish race, the Fiery Dwarves of the Mountains of Dorwinion. There are fannish oriented items as well, including letters between Tarkil and Halbarad about the state of affairs of their households, and the account of hobbitish Winter Wanderings (a journey made by some hobbits--in this case to a Dwarvish inn--which seems very appealing). The group also provides rules for a very structured academy: The Brotherhood of the Scholars of the Royal City of Annuminas which was founded three years ago and has three circles of scholars (Handi, Arhardi and Istyari). The English summaries are sometimes a bit rough but they give you a very good idea of what the Tolkien Lodge is all about : a detailed exploration of Middle-earth in all of its different facets.
