I reached new heights of geekness when I bookmarked an online calendar for 1942 (showing the phases of the moon) so that I could follow the discussion of some of the "ghost moons" in the text. At first I thought you were looking into Himling/Himring, but after some head scratching I now think you were looking into the mysterious seven streams ridden over by Boromir on his way to Rivendell.
