London: George Allen & Unwin Ltd, 1954-1955. 3 volumes, first edition, first impression, 8vo, dust-jackets, 3 folding maps printed in red and black, first impressions with signature number 4 lacking from The Return of the King and straight text on page 49 with Observer and Guardian review notices on rear inner flap of dust-jacket, original red cloth gilt, dust-jackets a little chipped and bumped at spine ends with a few very small closed tears along folds, some very slight soiling and darkening to dust-jackets with a few blind marks to upper cover of The Two Towers which appear to have been impressed a little into jacket (3)
