Near Fine original printed wrappers, very slight fraying to oversize leading edge, light age-toning and light creasing to spine, otherwise a Fine and Uncut copy, with colour frontispiece illustration, numerous plans & illustrations, plus 50 pages of B&W plates and numerous fold-out diagrams. Also contains an appendix on the name "Nodens" by Professor J.R.R. Tolkien, which is amongst his earliest and scarcest published writings. Only 1150 copies were printed, mostly for distribution to libraries. Hammond B13. A superior copy, Very Scarce in this condition. Sent with Australia Post Standard.
