This covers the plethora of philological books and articles published in 1925 Wove paper. Bound in grey-brown paper over boards. Spine stamped in black. Wove endpapers. Top edge trimmed, bottom and fore-edges untrimmed. CONDITION. Very Good. Overall tight binding and text in good condition internally. Small neat ownership inscription on first blank page, else no marks, underlining or torn pages. Light wear to front board. Housed in a removable Brodart protector. A scarce and wonderful find for the Tolkien enthusiast and collector. Especially in this condition. It would look great on your bookshelf with The Year’s Work in English Studies Vol. IV, 1923 and The Year’s Work in English Studies Vol. V, 1924 which I also have for sale.
