Well, this seems to be genuine allright. But I think it is rather younger than John Benjamin’s time. Probably Maggie Burns can tell you through which years Henry Riley would have been running the Tolkien piano business.

"This listing has been removed"

Now, does this mean that someone is getting wise to these listings and something is being done about it? I wonder ...

Thanks!

I've seen and especially heard Tom Shippey give the first of those two lectures (both described in both first links) in German at the GTS's Tolkien Thing last July.

I have another question on this. It used to be the case that TS members could get a worthwile discount buying through TST. Anyone know (Wellinghall, maybe?) what the status is on that?

I watched the programme and got all of them in real time except the last one. I hesitated between two of the Four Wise Clerks and landed on the wrong one.

I was thinking c'mon guys, this is too easy. Several others in Unquendor agreed on our forum.

Well, I've noticed an unpleasant change. The edit-window, when it contains more than a certain amount of text, jumps back to (or at least towards) top at anything you do (any button you push, basically).

This is a problem I have found occuring in two phpBB fora on IE 7.x or 8.x (in slightly different manner) under Windows. In one forum I have encountered it in, it has disappeared quickly, in the other it now persists for over a year and seems to be impervious to the admins’ attempts at tracking it down.

Just want to express my appreciation that the re-publication of PE #14 was announced here (as well as on the usual Yahoo-groups), and that I was able to pre-order straight away, this time.

Also my thanks that the issue is reprinted in the first place. Now for the others - one down, three to go, in my case!
