The exhibition that opened today in the halls of the Reggia di Venaria (TO), "Tolkien. Uomo Professore Autore", also has its own catalog published by Skira Arte. Inside, there are reproductions of many objects from the exhibition as well as essays by Italian Tolkien scholars. Unlike the first two catalogs of the exhibitions in Rome and Naples, this features on the cover an illustration of Roger Garland, an fantastic artist and never forgotten friend.
The exhibition will be held in Venaria Reale (TO) from October 19, 2024 to February 16, 2025.

That cover by Garland is gorgeous.
Is the exhibition itself the same? Have there been any changes/additions?
To those that have all 3 versions of the book - are there any significant differences other than the cover/color?
Many thanks!

That is a nice poster design. Is it an illustration by Roger Garland?

The image chosen for the exhibition poster is a detail from a painting by Roger Garland. As curator, I am delighted to be able to display Tolkien’s gown, thanks to my friend Pieter Collier, in this final stage of the major Italian exhibition on Tolkien. At the exhibition in Trieste, held in the beautiful Salone degli Incanti, items and books are on display that I had not included in the previous stages in Rome, Naples, Turin, and Catania. Here is a selection of images, together with a photo of the tribute paid by the city of Trieste to Tolkien during the drone show on the evening of the inauguration.
In the last photo are the five catalogues published for the exhibitions in Rome, Naples, Turin, Catania, and Trieste.
