What a great bargain, I think these Print On Demand books were about £25 with the recent HarperCollins discount.

Someone actually paid that for the reprint index! Was tempted til seeing the copyright page.

Worth noting that the only hard cover is the print on demand so don't pay more than the £40 from HarperCollins for it.

Indeed! Or less. With the recent 40% discount it could be purchased for £24 and then 15% Cashback from TCB Website (if in the UK or Ireland).

However there may be one collectible variant of this print on demand edition. The first number of copies (don't know how many but a very small number) printed had a printing error on the Copyright Page (some Chinese type characters).

Struggling to figure out why someone would pay $74 plus shipping for a photocopy (of admittedly interesting items)?

It appears that sticking comics in plastic, so that you cannot read them and getting a 9.8 grading makes them much more valuable than the vast majority of these that are not graded

They were charged around $58 for each CGC grading on those too. They do look incredibly well looked after. Probably never seen the light of day but that is silly season pricing.
