Khamul, there isn't much that gets me laughing out loud at the moment, but that one certainly managed to. Thanks!

I'm missing something. Tell me I'm missing something...

The item is missing the Tissue Paper, so the bidder would be missing something.
Nice to see there are more people than just me with more money than sense as Khamûl puts it.

Khamul, I meant these days in particular. I was told on Monday of an upcoming round of redundancies at work; of eighteen people in my area, four will be going

Crap. (Did you not already change/loose job just last year?)
Aye, the employment situation everywhere is getting really pretty bad. It's a real shame. And even companies, etc, with money --they're just trading on the insecurity all around to force through changes that, normally, they'd never have been able to do. People have no choice. It's heads down stuff in my industry; everyone afraid to speak up about concerns, as they'll just be told where the door is. Shameful stuff. Makes me very angry.
Anyway, back to Wonders...

I'm not sure if this should go into the "Interesting eBay Auctions" or here.
I almost bought it for the Buy It Now price (I did not, though) but noticed that according to Tolkienbooks.net that the "1st Impression 1969 – issued in a slipcase."
Has this seller or someone else swapped this for a later impression box or did some first impressions contain the box?

It's nearly four years since I lost my last job, and nearly three and a half since I started this one.
