LOTR has been translated into 57 languages or dialects (Brazilian Portuguese versus European Portuguese, for example). I have 56--Mongolian is out of print and I haven't been able to find any copies for sale. (My website says I have 55, but I haven't separated Indian Bengali from Bangladeshi Bengali yet.) "Language" versus "Dialect" is a tricky question from a linguistic point of view.

Thank you. Of course I owe a lot of the inspiration to Yvan Strelzyk, the creator of Elrond's Library.

Some of your pictures, Annunfalma, give me earth-quake stress!! I assume you live somewhere where the earth is stable and nothing is going to fall off without human assistance!

Yes Germany is not well known for earth-quakes, so everything is stable and save.
