Very true. I agree. Though I always imagined Tevildo much larger lol.

Here's hoping Christopher Tolkien does a similar release of The Fall of Gondolin. I would love to see Alan Lee's rendering of the seven gates. I always loved that story a lot; and it's been my favourite since I read the lay in HOME.

Looks quite nice. Glad that we didn't get a Chinese print (although we don't actually know where is is printed -- the answer "no" to China was less than informative). There are no signs of any of the features that marred Kullervo, though.

Right - the slipcase opening is an actual curve and the spine titling is centered! Did anyone end up with a Kullervo with centered spine titling? The half-dozen I've personally examined all have left-of-centeritis.

The three that I have seen all had off-centre titling to slightly varying degrees. I wouldn't rule out there being a copy out there where the printer/binder actually managed to get it right by accident, but I expect that copy will have the text bound in upside-down or some other fault...

A bit more info about the content here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/tolkienfans/c ... _beren_and_luthien_today/

I believe it is - as expected - more a repackaging than anything especially new (other than the art).
