Looks like the cover for Serkis's Lord of the Rings is being changed to use the Amazon Rings of Power cover.

In my opinion, replacing Alan Lee's excellent artwork with Amazon's generic promo image is a drastic downgrade. I hope it only affects soft copies, not the CDs.
Nonetheless, I'm a bit surprised they'd go through the trouble of updating the cover of an audiobook. I suppose it's popular enough for Amazon to want their promo material there.

The audiobook covers tend to come from Audible, if they update the cover on the website for the title, the Audible App will pull the new cover and it will update on your device.
As Audible is owned by Amazon, it is no surprise that the cover is being changed.

I see, I guess it makes sense for them to do that. I'm not concerned for Audible's cover; but it would feel like a loss if they did that to physical copies, which they're not (as far as I can tell).
In general, I don't mind tie-in editions as long as they exists in addition to (not instead of) "regular" copies.

Del Rey, the artist formerly know as Ballantine is doing that here in the states with their copies of LOTR
