The Current Bun (Sun) in the UK, published this wonderful web article about J.R.R. Tolkein's (sic) books.

My precious

Do you have these Lord Of The Rings books lying around your house? They could be worth up to £30k

J. R. R. Tolkein's (sic) series has been around for decades - but do you have an early edition?

It is quite a challenge to spot anything in the article that is factually correct

I will pass this task to others. I am a lifelong Liverpool fan and wouldn't click any link to The Sun.

The Sun LIE so it is no surprise they get this stuff wrong.

I gave up a few paragraphs in. Besides typos abound and what Trotter already pointed out, I gave up at this sentence:

On the dust jacket of first editions, “Dodgson” is incorrectly spelled “Dodgson”.

It gets worse, I think you picked a wise point to stop.
