The Church House Archives This collection is documentary recordings of selected subjects discussed by groups affiliated, such as possible Tolkien Society, and other interested parties of authors, involving UK workshops. These are different times of 1980's and further. One cd, Microphones in Middle Earth, has Stephen Oliver discussing BBC soundtrack of Lord of the Rings radio, with a stand up scene reenactment by Peter Woodthorpe doing Gollum. ~CD 1 George MacDonald (2 disc) ~CD 2 Facets of Tolkien - (2 disc) *disc 1 -track 1 Priscilla Tolkien 1977 -track 2 Humphrey Carpenter -1980 track 3 Rayner Unwin, track 4 Rayner Unwin *disc 2- Humphrey Carpenter Tom Shippey, Barbara Strachey, 1978 ~CD 3 Facets of CS Lewis (2 disc) ~CD 4 Microphones in Middle Earth- 1981 Brian Sibley, Michael Bakewell , Stephen Oliver , Peter Woodthorpe ~CD 5 The Inklings Anthologies (talks given at 'The ChurchHouse, Westminster). ~ I have more pertinent information, but if your familiar with this, I may be able to help with further details. More or less, very informative biographical muse towards the artist by friends or associates of above mentioned authors. Very nice and a lot of listening for a quiet evening. ~ NOTE * These cd's are CDR's and the cases are plastic with titles and track listings Xeroxed. Very basic. This information is important. Note* These CD's ARE from the Church House Archivist from the United Kingdom and were directly ordered by myself. ~Thank you.
