I'm looking for more info regarding a 1974 poster of the poem "Bilbo's Last Song". This isn't the Paulene Baynes art work, rather it's the photograph by Robert Strindberg.
Google doesn't seem to know who Robert Strindberg is. The only thing I can find is a reference on French Wikipedia that says this poster predates the Baynes poster by a few months, but I don't speak French so I could be mis-reading it and the info isn't on the equivalent page in English. I'd like to know if this is true and what the value might be. It is in Brand New condition with no folds or creases and has never been hung.

This is listed in Hammond and Anderson's J.R.R. Tolkien A Descriptive Bibliography as A11a p206.

Poem printed in black against a colour photograph by Robert Strindberg, of a river scene.

It is the first printing of the US poster of Bilbo's Last Song and was published on the 2nd April 1974, the British edition (Pauline Baynes poster) was first published on 26th September 1974.

I have no idea of value.

Hello all !

It's first answer in this forum ! I've written most of the French wikipedia article. Hammond and Scull talk about it in their Reader's Guide, p. 107-108.

Thanks. At least now I know my French-English Dictionary is worth it.
Any chance of finding the info from the Hammond books online?
