hi folks. Im looking for a copy of the hobbit early 1st edition. 1st impression would be great but i cant see that happening. i'm really looking for a copy that i can have rebound and read. so it wont be in need of a dust jacket or great condition other than tidy pages.
any help or apoint in the right direction would be great. earliest i can find on ebay is a 5th impression at 1100 quids

Have a look on Abebooks, cheapest UK 1st Edition is £525 (4th printing 1946), the cheapest UK 1/1st is £4000.
