There's a typo in the title of your thread. This is clearly a Tolkein letter, as the author states multiple times.

This is very worrying

"Even if you have never written a short story in your life, you can learn from the booklet that has helped more than 20,000 people write their first fantasy short stories. It includes a copy of a genuine letter from Tolkein to a reader just after he had written LOTR. To get your free copy, written by me and illustrated by leading fantasy artist, Mark Salwowski, simply click here."

I doubt if he asked the Tolkien Estate for permission to publish this, the constant incorrect spelling of Tolkein makes me think he has not.

I am concerned that he thinks the following "It includes a copy of a genuine letter from Tolkein to a reader just after he had written LOTR", no-one, that I am aware of, has any real proof that J.R.R. Tolkein existed

That 'Tolkein' letter dropped into that 'booklet' seems random, as well. It is not referred to in the text of the booklet, and it is reproduced small enough that it pretty much isn't legible. I think it was stuck in there just to get more people to download the booklet.

Still, you need permission to reproduce Tolkien's letters and I agree, this author very likely did not ask.

I asked the Tolkien Estate about permission for this item.
