Question about 4th edition copy of The Hobbit.

Hello everyone! This is my first post after years of lurking this awesome forum. I am posting this because I am looking for help with a copy of The Hobbit I've come across browsing a sort of eBay that exists in my country. I am from South America and it is very rare to find older Hobbit or Lord of the Rings editions.
The seller here states it is a 4th edition, 4th printing, at a price of about 35 US dollars. And my question is do you guys think it is worth it? And what about the price? Here books are quite expensive, so in my case it is not a high price in comparison, for an old edition that we do not see often. But I wanted to know your opinion. In the pictures it looks quite good apart from the faded spine. Of course in case I decide to pursue it, I will ask for a picture of the copyright page.
I hope I posted this correctly, thanks!

That is not a bad price for the edition, most of them have faded spines.

I would ask if it is price clipped before buying as well.

I think $35 is an okay price. Too bad about the spine, but as Trotter says, the dust jackets from this time period were all prone to fading. A 4th print would place the year at 1983. As long as there are no other issues, I think it's fine.
