I'm selling my copy of The Hobbit, 1st edition 4th impression (George Allen & Unwin, 1946).
Price: USD 500 plus shipping at cost (from Sweden).
Please note that this is a library re-bind which has no map endpapers and no colour frontispiece. There are remains showing of the library pastedowns, and there are two stamps on the copyright page.
As you can see in the first picture, the exterior of the binding is somewhat scuffed and worn - though the text block itself is quite tight. There is a tear to the bottom edge of the copyright page.
