In The Peoples of Middle-earth (p. 72), Christopher Tolkien mentions a sale of a letter by Tolkien on "4 May 1995 at Sotheby's in London". Anyone knows in which catalogue this letter appeared?

Addition: I suspect it might be the one called Illustrated Books, Children's Books, Ephemera, Performing Arts & Related Drawings.

I've got this amongst my notes for a long overdue TolkienBooks.net update:

70970
Illustrated Books, Children’s Books, Ephemera, The Performing Arts and Related Drawings.
Auction catalogue.
4 May 1995.
Sotheby’s.
Includes extracts from a letter on runes.

I was about to say: have you checked TolkienBooks?, but after a cursory glance, myself, I didn't see it either. Ahh... awaiting an update; good good.

Quite around here, isn't it? Everyone must be holiday-ing it up!
