If you like Ted Nasmith art, there is more good news on the calendar front - Ted just announced on his blog that he has been contracted to illustrate the 2009 Tolkien Calendar and 2009 Tolkien Diary as a part of a renewed promotion for The Silmarillion. Unfortunately...

none of the illustrations are new, they are all (larger format) reprints from the 2004 illustrated edition. This calendar should be available around August of 2008.

But, if you want new Ted Nasmith illustrations, you should head over to Heren Istarion where their 2008 Calendar is already available for order, and has many new illustrations both from Ted as well as Jef Murray (known for his wonderful illustrations gracing the pages of Amon Hen and Silver Leaves as a few examples).
