GTC Roadshow has put out a press release to announce the acquisition of all of the Tolkien related lots from the Profiles in History auction a week ago. Their announcement is included at the end of this post.

GTC AG, a Swiss based company, announces the acquisition of the second most expensive Tolkien book ever sold; a signed Hobbit bought from Peter Harrington’s for £53,000 setting a new benchmark for a signed book.
The book was inscribed by Tolkien while staying with Jack Bennett, a friend and former colleague from Oxford. [...]

On December 11th in California, Profiles in History will be auctioning off six important (and signed) lots of J.R.R. Tolkien materials, including an original Pauline Baynes piece and one of the three maps by Pauline Baynes signed by Tolkien.
