HarperCollins has secured worldwide rights to release Tolkien's major works as electronic texts (eBooks).
The books are available through Fictionwise (an eBook specialty retailer) in multiple formats and directly from Amazon for the Kindle. All of the eBooks have Digital Rights Managment (DRM) associated with them, so they have limitations on what devices [...]
