The very rare
The Hobbit Tolkien George Allen and Unwin 1965 1st Edition 15th Impression snap it up for $2999 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOBBIT-2nd- ... tible&hash=item4ab6ee5d04 The title does admit it is a 2nd edition and has some tape on the dust-jacket. This could be a great investment as the movie of the Hobbit is about to be released later this year, and prices of the Lord Of The Rings went up after the movies relating to those three volumes. or in this case a very poor one.

The same seller is also selling a very rare 1971 Hobbit, who knew these were so rare, for $399 with no dust-jacket.
