A lot of the early publications like this one, as pointed out, this is a very rare publication and I like to collect these.

What do we make of this then?
Lord of the rings book signed by Christopher Tolkien!! I met him at the London book fair. I dont recall if it was the 2009 or 2010 one though as ive been to a few thanks to my line of work (norfolk county council librarian) I hope this clears up any confusion there might have been and I look forward to hearing from yu again if you have any further enquiries. Wrong thread I think... BH

I don't like it - the sig. looks wrong, for a start. Then there's the illiterate note from the 'librarian', who has no previous form on Ebay. I'd stay well clear (besides, I've more than enough CT sigs.)
