You may be right - the ISBN Amazon has (First in my previous post) appears to be an old one. Also only the "mustard" one is listed on tolkien.co.uk

It seems like you have a special interest in Silmarillions, Khamûl? Or maybe it's just me misinterpreting you...

See, this is the problem I have with Amazon: their lackadaisical attitude to the most simple of details; & the ongoing caveat of "this is the information provided by the publisher". They're even different prices!

As Trotter says, there appears to only be a 448 pg., mustard coloured, ISBN 978-0007523221 copy. Therefore the Amazon entry, with mustard cover, is in error in regard to the number of pages. It's also not anywhere near 3.4cm thick. The other "edition", with ISBN which probably doesn't exist in any copies (or with that cover), doesn't even have a thickness dimension. The other dimensions are pretty close. It's not inconceivable that Amazon don't know what a ruler is...

You are indeed misinterpreting me, Morgan. In fact, I'm not sure if I quite understand what you're implying?!
