So, if you go look at Amazon.co.uk and search for 'Childred of Hurin', you will get three hardcover matches.
(Not sure if this link will work, but... try it here) One has ISBN 0007252234 and is £0.80 each (?!) (This is the ISBN for the deluxe edition) One has ISBN 0007246226 and is £18.04 each One has ISBN 0007252250 and is £0.20 each (!!?) with a pub date of September Last one has ISBN 0618894640 (This is the Houghton Mifflin edition marked for import to UK) for £12.59 each.

someone has obviously made a mistake when inputing the price. i wonder if you paid the £0.80 for the one with the Deluxe ISBN would Amazon honour the purchase?

No they wouldn't.
You only enter into a contract when you have been charged for the book, and they always notice before this happens that the price is wrong and cancel your order. I tried in the past to buy a HP IPAQ from them for £2 (should have been £200) and they just cancelled the orders.

I finally received the correct price:
* ISBN: 0-00-725223-4 * Binding: Hardback * Extent: 320 * Category: Science fiction and fantasy * Imprint: HarperCollins * Division: HarperEntertainment * Rights: OM * Publish Date(s): o 17/04/2007 (UK) * Price(s): o £60.00 (UK) o $175.00 (CA) And mailed to amazon.co.uk. They promised that they would not charge me more for my order and I have now a mail to proof it! Yet, they can always cancel the order of course. That would be sad, since i ordered 10... for 0.80£ that was no problem at all!! ![]()
