I have just aquired a 3rd impression 1994 Lord of the Rings HarperCollins Hardback.
The Dustwrapper is not price-clipped but has no price printed on it. I was very suprised because most of my Tolkien books from the same period, unless Book Club Editions all have printed prices. Does anyone know if HC were still using price stickers in 1994 and if it has been removed? Andrew

My 4th impression doesn't have a price either.
I think there will be a number of variations with printed prices and stickers, just like the HOME volumes issued by HarperCollins.

Deagol, I notice from your website only one printing of the 1994 Book Club Edition.
What do you think about unpriced HC books being for BCA, like some of the HOME editions?
