It may interest you to know that a "Champion of Champions" series of "Mastermind" is being filmed. We recently saw two episodes being filmed, one of which included my father in law (not on Tolkien, though). It might be screened around October. And no, we won't tell you who won!

Belatedly -
The "Champion of Champions" contest is on BBC2 this week, with the final being shown this (Friday) evening at 8.00pm. My father in law appeared on Wednesday's show. For those who still want a bit of tension in their lives, or who are planning to watch that heat on iPlayer, I won't tell you who won! We are just visible in the audience of Wednesday's show, but we haven't spotted ourselves in Monday's audience. - wellinghall
