Here is a quiz, which book are you getting if you were to buy one of the three copies available. I'm struggling from the description to have any idea at all!!!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/History-Middle- ... 295?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3 From looking at the ISBN listed it is possible to find which book it is, but that is cheating for this quiz. If you want to cheat, it is probably this book http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Complete-Histor ... -/290465401265?pt=Fiction

Based on the ISBN only, I think you are correct (the Complete HoME Vol 2 trade edition). Other than that, a completely useless eBay listing as far as information content.

Here's an interesting ebay anecdote - I picked up a copy of TLOTR as a "buy it now" - then recieved an email from the seller telling me he had made a mistake on the price and wasn't going to honor the transaction. He refunded the money - but I'd rather have the book.

Here's one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/2002-1ST-Ed-3-Vol ... tible&hash=item5889e536ac First edition? Good examples go for $1300? Hardly! I got mine (brand new condition) from ebay for Ł20.00, and later on, got Alan Lee to sign 'em for me. Wonder how much this ... twit... would put on those. To me, they're priceless.

I know the seller of this item very well and have a lot of respect for ADC, but would anyone really want to have this item in their house, at this price
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lord-Rings-Oak- ... es_EH&hash=item4cf1e0717e As an aside, I thought I had to mention this one as well A VERY RARE CHANCE TO GRAB SUCH A COLLECTABLE EDITION A TRUE COLLECTORS ITEM VERY COLLECTABLE AND A GREAT INVESTMENT I'm struggling with this item, from the pictures the box set looks pretty good but the Dust Jackets are in appalling condition, so probably not the same set of books that came in the box set. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOLKIEN-LORD-RI ... ks_UK&hash=item20b3d39f68 And another one, second edition's with accompanying dust jackets http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lord-Rings-Tril ... ks_UK&hash=item5889e44250
