Hi everyone-
It's my first post here - so here goes. I just bought a copy of The Hobbit (Easton Press) that has some printing errors. Pages 130, 131, 134, 135, 138, 139, 142 and 143 are completely blank. I called customer service at Easton Press and the lady there hadn't heard of any problems with any pressings of this book. Has anyone heard of anything like this from these Easton Press copies? Does this make it semi-collectable or just worthless since it'd virtually unreadable. See the pictures below. Thanks for any and all help with information- John Lewis Attach file: 132-133.jpg (59.16 KB)![]() 136-137.jpg (53.79 KB)![]()

This question comes up regularly.
Unlike philately where errors are much prized, they are not in books and will usually reduce the value of the book to nothing. If this is a new book from Easton Press, then I would see if they would replace it for you.

Hi-
It's a used book, in "Like New" condition, that came from Amazon.com. I'll return it and look for another. I appreciate your getting back to me so quickly. John
