I like the look of the 2nd imp. Hobbit which is featured on the front page at present; but aren't they expensive these days? Mine cost me much less; but then I bought mine many years ago, and it doesn't have a dust-wrapper.

One of my 4th imp. Hobbits does, though - interesting to see that there's one of those up for sale in the same auction.

I don't own any guns though - they seem to be a popular item in the same auction catalogue.

I hadn't read the auction (or catalogue) in much detail, just your mention of guns. I thought --what's garm rambling on about!

One of your 4th impressions!? Who needs one, when you can have two; and a 2nd imp.! For those of us who didn't buy books back in the 70's ( ) --yes, they are expensive. That's why I don't own one...
