It looks like I will be in London for work, the week of the 24th of October.
Three things: - Anyone in that area willing to get together? - I want to store my Mallorns better than currently - they are too large to fit in any standard US archival sleeves - anyone have any recommendations that I can pick up while I am there? - Any bookstore recommendations (Tolkien specific of course) specifically in the London area? I don't think I will have time to get to Oxford, for example, but I will really try.

As I work in London, that's a great idea.
London bookshops like most cities have all but disappeared but Cecil Court and the few stores left on Charing Cross Road are worth a visit. Forbidden Planet in Shaftesbury Avenue is good for current Science Fiction and Fantasy books as well.
