Tolkienbooks.net gives a nice overview of all British editions of Tolkiens writings. Does anybody know a site of similar quality that lists all US editions? Especially editions that have a different design than those in the UK.

Which US editions of Tolkiens writings would you recommend as a must have for your Tolkien collection?

I'd recommend none.
No, seriously, I don't collect foreign editions...

Take a look at http://tolkien.skwishmi.com/ for US Editions.

These are the only US Editions I have in my collection (which is mostly UK Editions ansd some German ones), because I really like the look of them.

LotR 1981 Silver Anniversary Edition
LotR Collectors Edition 1974
First Annotated Edition 1988
Hobbit Collectors Edition 1973
Hobbit 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition 1987
Hobbit Eclipse Books 1989, 1990, 1990
Easton Press Editions

The Only US editions I have are Easton Press. I didn't think I would like them, but turns out I do. I just picked up Fonstad's Atlas of Middle-Earth, and it is a really nice edition.

Oh, yes and I do have the US 1/1s of HoME, but then you can't have enough variants of that...
